Community leader Tami Green has been living at 94 Jackie Robinson Parkway in East New York for over ten years. She has been taking care of the house when no one else did. The former owner passed away in 2010 and the bank initiated foreclosure in 2012 but neither the estate or the bank fixed the roof, replaced stolen copper lines, or had a dangerous tree removed. Tami did all that.

In 2021, the notorious speculator brothers Elliott and Joseph Amballo purchased the house from one of the sons of the previous owner and immediately took action to evict Tami from her house.
