Community leader Tami Green has been living at 94 Jackie Robinson Parkway in East New York for over ten years. She has been taking care of the house when no one else did. The former owner passed away in 2010 and the bank initiated foreclosure in 2012 but neither the estate or the bank fixed the roof, replaced stolen copper lines, or had a dangerous tree removed. Tami did all that.
In 2021, the notorious speculator brothers Elliott and Joseph Amballo purchased the house from one of the sons of the previous owner and immediately took action to evict Tami from her house. This is the classic Amballo Brothers playbook; they have stolen deeds, extracted wealth, and destabilized our neighborhoods for years. We need to stop the
Tami is asking the Kings County Supreme Court to recognize her ownership through adverse possession. Stand with Tami and the many residents across NYC who have been evicted, stolen from or ripped off by these speculator brothers and their business partner Etai Vardi.
